Puppy Questionnaire
Interested in an Of Course puppy?
Copy and paste this questionnaire into an email and send it to us at Of Course. We'd love to have you come and visit our dogs.
We pride ourselves in the fact that our puppy people come to us because they believe in our philosophy, breeding program and early socialization techniques. We hope you've ended up here not just to get a dog, but to get a lifelong family member who will be cherished for many years.

Where will the puppy spend most of its time?
What type of food do you plan to feed?
Do you want a pet or show puppy?

Do you allow smoking in your home and/or vehicle?
Have you ever given up a dog before?
What type of temperament do you and the other adults in your home have, i.e. soft, assertive, dominant, etc?
What type of dog temperament do you think would best suit your family?
Do you plan on competing in any activities with your RR puppy?
Of Course Rhodesian Ridgebacks are bred with a strong attention to temperament, longevity and health. Moreover, finding a long term, forever home is our number one priority. Once you own an Of Course Ridgeback and if, for any reason, you cannot keep your puppy, you are expected to return it to Of Course for re-assessment and re-homing. This is to minimize the potential of RRs ending up on the BSL list or unwanted in shelters. As a surrendering owner you may not be entitled to any reimbursements and fully accept that responsibility.
All pet quality puppies are to be spayed or neutered and are sold on a non-breeding contract. All show potential puppies are co-owned to ensure mentorship for the life of the intact puppy.
Should you require references from other people with Of Course RRs, we am more than happy to provide them.
Thank you in advance for your response.
Sincerely,
Barbara Turpin
