Who is Darla?
My darling Darla, aka Ch Seize the Fire Of Course, CGC has captured my heart in a quiet, exceptional manner. Another moderate, true wheaten bitch, Darla is sometimes overlooked by all breed judges who seldom see this type of bitch. Despite this, I was able to finish Darla with a Group IV during the weekend of the Aristocrat Hound Association Specialty.
Darla as well has been shown selectively. A job that required me to be on the road 50% of the time and a chance in personal circumstances prevented me from showing her as much as I would have liked. Still, she has contributed greatly to more than seventy Rosettes that cover the halls at Of Course.
Darla's show record includes BPIG (Best Puppy in Group) wins, Best of Breed wins, Group placements, Bred By Exhibitor wins at three specialties, Best Bred by Exhibitor in Group and has the honour of being the first Of Course hound to earn her CGC (Canine Good Citizen).
Coupled with her mother, Diva, Darla has won six Best Brace in Shows and three Best Brace in Specialty awards, as well as many Best Brace in Breed and Group wins. It's a record we're proud of here at Of Course and look forward to using her in our breeding program.
It is for her sound personality that junior handlers have shown Darla to several wins and I can trust her to show for anyone who has a treat.
Unlike Jade, Darla's show personality is quiet, sound and well mannered. Her trademark feature is her Arabian-style neck. She brings an undying devotion, dog-savvy behaviour and beautiful angles to the Of Course program.

Darla will be bred in 2007. She has passed her Cardiac, Thyroid and CERF tests. Her elbows are OFA clear and hips are excellent.
